When: 9:25-10:15 Classes: Scripture Memory: During the first few minutes of Sunday School we give people the opportunity to quote a verse that they memorized during the week, or read a verse that God used in their lives this week. There is no pressure to participate! We all receive a blessing from hearing how the Lord used His Word in someones life to encourage or challenge them!
Topic: Core Teachings of the Bible
Join us as we take a systematic approach to discovering the truth of God's Word. We believe that a proper knowledge of God and His Word is essential to spiritual growth. Come grow with us! Our adult Sunday school time is informal. Please come and ask questions and give input to our discussion! We have coffee and breakfast snacks available before and during the lesson. Please bring your questions! Sunday School is vital for building a doctrinal foundation upon which we can build our lives! Nursery (Ages 0-5) We have a nursery equipped with toys and caring adults in a separate room with easy access to the meeting room at all of our services! |
When: 10:30-11:45amOrder of Worship:Congregational Singing: We sing several hymns together as a congregation to focus our thoughts on God. Offering: A unique characteristic of Truth Baptist Church is that we do not pass an offering plate. If you desire to give financially an offering box will be available to receive your gifts near the pulpit before and after each service. Special Music: We usually have a special song before the preaching of God's Word. Sermon: The purpose of each sermon is to focus our thoughts on the Bible, determine the meaning and purpose of the passage, transfer the truths of the passage to our modern times, and make applications to our lives based on that truth. Opportunity for Response: We believe that the truth of God's Word is intended to affect how we live each day. Each sermon closes with a few private moments for each person to take the truth he just heard and ask God to help him change his life in light of the truth. We close the service with a congregational song.

When: 6:00-7:00pmSermon Series: The Fruit of the Spirit Every tree produces some kind of fruit. You can tell what kind of tree it is by the fruit it produces. If you are truly a child of God, then there will be resulting "fruit" evident in your life. Join us as we study what the fruit of the Spirit should look like in our lives! Our evening service is a slight variation from the morning service lacking only the special music before the message. A nursery is available for your convenience at all our services! We encourage older children to join us for the service.
