This past Saturday we held our second monthly Men's Breakfast.  A good group of men from the church came out.  As men and leaders of the church, we enjoyed coffee, juice, Krispy Kremes, bagels for breakfast.  While we enjoyed fellowship together over breakfast, we reviewed the financial statement for the month of September, talked about our up coming radio advertisements, and continued our study in the book Disciplines of a Godly Man by R. Kent Hughes. 

Our topic for this month was the "Discipline of Purity". As Hughes said, "Sensuality is easily the biggest obstacle to godliness among men today and is wreaking havoc in the Church."  Thankfully God has given us the Holy Spirit who can enable us to live pure lives before Him (Galatians 5:16).

What a blessed opportunity to gather together with men who are seeking live pure before the Lord!
