This past Sunday evening we held our first observance of the Lord’s Supper.  Pastor Rowley preached on the meaning and significance of the Lord’s Supper as instituted by Christ.  We all received a blessing meditating on Christ’s broken body and shed blood on our behalf.  It was a blessing to have several people in the church worked together to prepare for our observance!  Two of our men also helped with the distribution of the bread and grape juice.  As the bread was being distributed, Jen played an arrangement to “Were You There” on the piano and flute.  As the cup was passed, Jen played “Jesus Paid it All” on the piano.

After the service we had our first church dinner.  Each person brought food to contribute to a wonderful selection of main dishes, appetizers, and desserts!  We all had a wonderful talking and laughing together!
