This past week we held our first Vacation Bible School for children ages 3 years old to the 8th grade.  God greatly blessed and brought a growing number of children each morning!  Thank you to those of you who prayed, invited, and worked in VBS!  May the Lord use this effort to reach children and families with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

A big thank you to the teen group from Truth Baptist Church in CT who came down to help us run the VBS!  We worked them hard with flier distributions, set up and tear down each day.  They also ran the lessons, games, and crafts.

It is hard to believe Truth Baptist Church is coming up on our one year anniversary!  We held our first service on July 26, 2009!  To celebrate the work God has done over the past year and the relationships he has given us in our church, we will holding a celebration banquet.

Date: Saturday, July 24th at 5:00pm

Location: 8th floor cafeteria of Baptist Hospital downtown Jacksonville

Guest Speaker: Pastor Martin Masitto from Victory Baptist Church

Menu: A lasagna dinner with salad, garlic bread, and chocolate cake or key lime pie for dessert!

Cost: There is no cost for the meal.
